Despite coming off an election cycle where Democrats secured both chambers of Congress and the White House, Republicans look primed to take back control of the House during next year’s midterm elections.

Elections experts are already beginning to make their predictions — and their models give Republicans the edge at flipping the handful of House seats needed to secure a majority.

The GOP has only gotten stronger since last November — posting massive fundraising hauls, launching attacks on progressive Democrats, and caving to the demands of the party’s far-right seditious caucus.

We need to begin mounting our defense now, or else we risk losing the House to a party eager to roll back the progress we’ve made so far and push forward their own regressive agenda.
