Hey gang,
I started The Daily Wire back in 2015 with my friend and business partner Jeremy Boreing. The first episode of The Ben Shapiro Show—filmed in Jeremy’s backyard—aired on September 21, 2015.
We’ve come a long way. Thankfully, I have a much more comfortable studio now. I’m also on nationally syndicated radio, which is pretty cool.
One thing that’s stuck with me over the years is my line “Facts don’t care about your feelings.” I tweeted that back in February 2016. It went viral and now it’s on t-shirts, memes, and coffee mugs. You get the idea.
You know I also love speaking on college campuses, where many students and professors don’t appreciate that facts don’t care about their feelings.
Far too many academic administrators try their best to hide this reality and foster the “snowflake” stereotype with safe spaces and trigger warnings.
So I’m grateful for the opportunities to talk with students, many of whom disagree with me, in a respectful, public forum.
