Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans are preparing to use the filibuster—an outdated Senate procedure that is inherently undemocratic—to block every piece of progressive legislation on President Biden’s agenda.

Sensible gun safety reforms. Voting rights. D.C. statehood. None of this will be possible while Republicans use the filibuster to hold the Senate hostage.
