Dear John,
Please join me tonight (April 13) at 8:30 p.m. ET / 5:30 p.m. PT for We Rise Together: Stopping Anti-Asian Hate.
The rise in anti-Asian hate and violence is horrific and unacceptable. Each day another incident devastates America. President Biden issued a presidential memorandum condemning racism, xenophobia and intolerance against the 23 million Asian American and Pacific Islanders in the United States. But the community needs action, united in mission and spirit.
I will represent ADL in the conversation alongside Ambassador Gary Locke of the Committee of 100 (a non-partisan leadership organization of prominent Chinese Americans), NAACP President/CEO Derrick Johnson, Sen. Alex Padilla and Rep. Grace Meng along with moderator Juju Chang
of ABC News to discuss our experiences and how to move forward. Racism, violence, discrimination and marginalization hurt us all, so how can we come together to create real change?
