The Global Just Recovery Gathering is in the books, and we're blown away:
During the Gathering, people from around the world came together to collectively reimagine our future. We had over 6,900 participants from 151 countries, hosted more than 170 workshops, and were joined by over 30 panelists.
But more important than big numbers, is each individual who was inspired and empowered, who found new ways to support the movement, and who now knows better than ever that they are not alone in this fight. THAT is how we build and unleash our collective fierce power, and draw down the fossil fuel industry. And the truth is, we could not have turned this historic event from idea to reality without supporters like you.
Now, it's time to turn our attention towards implementing the ambitious goals set by climate leaders and activists during the Global Just Recovery Gathering. To make that happen, we'll need your support now more than ever before:

On Sunday, April 11, yet another Black life was taken by those sworn to protect. We join the community in mourning the life of Daunte Wright. Over and over again we see police use excessive force against Black people as part of a system rooted in white supremacy and racism.
As a global organization working to stop the climate crisis, we know that systemic racism is deeply connected to climate change. With recognition that racial justice is climate justice, 350.org stands in solidarity with Movement for Black Lives and all of those demanding to #DefundThePolice.
