Sign Our Petition

Dear John,

This would be a game-changer. President Biden’s bold infrastructure plan calls for a long-overdue investment in older Americans. The following are key measures contained in the President’s “American Jobs Plan” that would directly benefit older adults:

  • $400 billion toward expanding home- and community-based care for older Americans and people with disabilities
  • Increasing the wages and benefits of caregiving workers;
  • Improving housing security for older adults;
  • Expanding access to high-speed internet for the whole country; and
  • Enhancing public transportation which will benefit all Americans, including older adults.

Our nation’s capacity to take care of one of our most under-resourced populations has not kept pace with the growing number of older Americans. The President’s plan is a welcome recognition that any re-imagining of the economy must include a serious commitment to older adults’ needs, which have been laid bare by the COVID pandemic.

That’s why I need you to sign the National Committee’s Petition to Congress and urge your U.S. Senators and your U.S. Representative to support the President’s plan that will expand and improve services that benefit older Americans.

We must fight to advance this important agenda that strengthens our government’s commitment to improving the health and well-being of millions of older Americans and people with disabilities. So please ensure your voice is heard in this critical debate and tell your lawmakers to get on board President Biden’s infrastructure plan by signing our Petition today! Our goal is to collect OVERWHELMING NUMBERS of signatures from workers and retirees nationwide that simply cannot be ignored by your Senators and U.S. Representative.

Sincerely,

Max Richtman
President & CEO
