I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Never did I expect the 2022 campaign would start so fast , and start so nasty .

Right now, I’m focused on my work in Congress. We passed COVID-19 relief, but still need to keep pushing on infrastructure, voting rights, environmental issues — and so much more. That’s where my focus is — but I also know that if we don’t fight back against these smears, we could lose this critical swing seat while we aren’t looking.
