Hi there — From the start of this crisis, Governor Gretchen Whitmer has taken decisive action to save lives. And in the face of rising cases, she's fought tooth and nail to advocate for increased vaccine supply.

But now – in retribution for her effective leadership – GOP legislators are looking for long-term limits on the governor's emergency powers.

We cannot let this happen, friend: We must act immediately to show Republicans everywhere that they'll pay a heavy price at the ballot box for power grabs like this.

At every turn, GOP legislators have obstructed Governor Whitmer's life-saving efforts and even tried to steal power for themselves when they think no one's paying attention.

The right-wing group Unlock Michigan even went so far as to forge signatures on their petition to limit the governor's emergency powers. It's clear Republicans don't have the public's support — otherwise, they wouldn't have to resort to such misleading tactics.

The only way to stop power grabs like this is to flip the Michigan Legislature in 2022, but we'll need your help to do it. Will you chip in $10 or more to defeat GOP legislators up and down the ballot?
