Since the new administration took office there have been more unaccompanied minors apprehended by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) at the start of this year than any other recorded year. And yet, they refuse to call the situation what it is:

A crisis.

To make matters even worse, Kamala Harris hasn’t visited the border for a single minute since she was put in charge of managing the crisis on March 24th –– and it’s only growing worse by the day.

This complete failure of leadership is why Mike took charge in Congress introducing a package of bills focused on Border Security:

Empowering Immigration Courts Act –– this bill allows immigration judges to impose criminal fines on those in contempt of court while clearing case backlogs, reducing unnecessary delays in adjudicating immigration cases.
Illicit Arms Trafficking Security Enforcement Act –– this bill creates a specialized unit within DHS to combat cartels and other organizations trafficking weapons.
Supporting Mexico Against Corruption Act –– this bill directs the president to sanction Mexican authorities engaged in corrupt activity and human rights abuses.
