Hey, I wanted to say thank you:
We just held one of our biggest national strategy calls ever. A few thousand of you tuned in last week — many for the first time — and a majority signed up to host a crucial Medicare for All event.
I truly can’t begin to thank you enough. Whether this was your first national call or your fourth, we’re going to need your help in the days, weeks, and months ahead if we want to win.
And if you couldn’t make the call, that’s fine too. Not only do we have a recording available, but there are also tons of other ways you can get to work:
The most important of which is hosting a Medicare for All event in your area. Successful movements are built by millions of one-on-one conversations. These events are a key component to ensuring that those conversations take place, and we'll help guide you through every step.
Before I let you go, here’s a glimpse of the types of events we’re continuing to organize in order to win Medicare for All, district by district, city by city, state by state:
Canvass: if you’re in the district of a congressional representative who hasn’t signed on to H.R. 1384, you’ll meet up with fellow organizers in your community and hit the pavement! You get to knock on doors, talk with countless people, and win their support for Medicare for All.
Textbank: if you’re in the district of a congressional representative who has signed on to H.R. 1384, you’ll gather at a home or coffee shop with other Medicare for All supporters and your laptops. Use our special software to text thousands of voters about Medicare for All in key congressional districts around the country.
Can I count on you to host a Medicare for All organizing event near Washington?
It won’t be an easy fight in the long run, but every single action we hold, every door we knock, and every person we bring into the fold brings us one step closer to winning.
Thanks for being a part of this,
Jasmine Ruddy
