In the past year, we've seen an unprecedented rise in violence and hatred against the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community. Threats, verbal and physical assaults, and recently, a mass shooting that killed eight people -- including six Asian women -- have left AAPI community members in constant fear for their safety.
