John,
The statements Donald Trump directed towards four female members of Congress over the weekend were hateful. They were racist. They were inaccurate. And they were divisive -- but we must respond to them with unity.
We cannot allow this hateful behavior to become normal. It is incumbent on all Americans not to be cowed by the president's repeated outbursts. We can't lower the bar of what is acceptable for this man and his allies, because, as this episode proves, he will simply stoop lower.
Instead, we must all continue to speak out. As long as elected officials -- especially Republican leaders in Congress -- remain silent about ugly attacks like these, they enable them. We have to make it clear that America is better than this. We have to take on Trump and everything he stands for.
Add your name if you agree Congress should condemn Donald Trump for his racist remarks against Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, and Rashida Tlaib.

An official Congressional condemnation will put members of Congress on the record on this. At a time that demands unity in the face of hatred, please join me in calling on every lawmaker -- especially the Republicans who support Trump -- to make their stance on this public.
