Cori Bush for Congress

We have a housing crisis in our country, John.

In the past year, the economic crisis from the COVID-19 pandemic has put millions of families at risk of being evicted from their homes.

The science is clear, kicking people out of their homes during this pandemic has led to hundreds of thousands of additional COVID-19 cases. It is deadly, dangerous, and morally wrong.

That’s why Cori announced today that she’s fighting to enact a moratorium on evictions for as long as our communities are living through this public health emergency.

Will you add your name if you agree with Cori that housing is a human right and that we must enact an immediate ban on evictions? It’s going to take a massive, organized show of grassroots support to prevent more evictions during this pandemic.

Cori understands first-hand how destabilizing and how violent an eviction can be.

She’s been evicted, unhoused, and has lived in a car with her two babies. So when we say this fight is personal for Cori — we mean it.

Evictions are violence.
Evictions are deadly.
And evictions are continuing, despite the fact that the pandemic is still ongoing.

Our government must not allow any of us to go without shelter during this public health crisis. Housing is health care, and it is a fundamental right that should be guaranteed to all. If you agree, please support Cori’s call to put a pause on evictions — it takes less than 1 minute to sign our petition.

Together,
Team Cori
