You know that joyful feeling when you open the mailbox and see the letter you’ve been waiting for addressed to you in your best friend’s handwriting.

Or the sensation of relief when you realize you don’t have to drive to the pharmacy to pick up your prescriptions because you can have them mailed straight to your home instead.

Or that rare but special moment when you receive the thick envelope containing your vote-by-mail ballot.

We can thank the US Postal Office for all of that. But for these simple joys to continue without delays and issues, we need to step up and ask Congress to support the USPS→

During the last year, the USPS has been hurting, and the Trump administration did nothing to support this federal agency that is so instrumental to the lives of each and every American. The percentage of on-time deliveries has nosedived, hurting countless people who rely on the USPS.

Now that the Trump administration is gone and Democrats have control of the House and Senate, it is time to act. The USPS needs funding, and we must put pressure on Congress to take action quickly.
