This is not the news we wanted to hear as we get closer and closer to the 2022 election cycle. As reported by Politico, Seditious Six leader Marjorie Taylor-Greene raised a whopping $3 million in the first quarter of this year. This far surpasses anyone's expectations, and sets the stage for an even more challenging bid to unseat her.
This haul further proves that the current version of the Republican Party cannot be saved. The MAGA world cares less about passing meaningful legislation and more about creating controversy and spreading hate and vitriol against minorities, perpetuating transphobia, and leaning into conspiracy theories. This benefits no one, and it certainly doesn't benefit the constituents of CD-14 in North Georgia, whom Taylor-Greene is supposed to represent.
Team, it's time we kick things into overdrive. If we don't raise the necessary funds required to reach rural youth and Black Democratic voters, get them registered to vote and make sure they are educated about the Democratic candidates on their ballots, we can kiss any hope of defeating Taylor-Greene, defending Senator Reverend Warnock, and flipping the Georgia state legislature, goodbye.
