Some of the most obnoxious — and dangerous — Trumpists in Congress are raking in millions after trying to overturn the election and supporting the January 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.
For half a century, Public Citizen has been standing up to reactionaries, demagogues, and corporatists.

Day in and day out, we are on Capitol Hill, at the White House, and in the courts defending democracy and promoting progressive policies.

We are also organizing grassroots power in communities all across America to (among other campaigns):

1. Expand voting rights even in the face of racist and plutocratic attempts to disenfranchise millions of Americans.

2. Win Medicare for All (something we were leading the push for decades ago) and end the immoral nightmare of private, for-profit health care.

3. Overturn the Supreme Court’s disastrous Citizens United ruling (another effort we’ve been a leader of — ever since the court issued that absurd decision back in 2010).

And we are continually exposing — and challenging — the stranglehold Big Business has on our country. (Just this week we published a report showing that Corporate America spent $86 million in just the past six years bankrolling the almost exclusively Republican state legislators around the country that are pushing some 361 voter suppression bills in all but three states.)

To state the obvious, it’s not easy going up against billionaires and Big Business — and their stupendously well-funded political lackeys.

Don’t get me wrong — we enjoy it, we take pride in it, and we are good at it.

But, while Public Citizen operates remarkably efficiently, we do need a baseline level of financial strength to keep fighting the regressive, reactionary, racist forces that are constantly threatening to turn this country — the entire world — into an Orwellian dystopia.

So I’m asking:
