John, American democracy is under attack.

Trump's lies still echo through our nation, spurring more division with each passing day.

The far right is pushing through voter suppression bills as we speak. Just this month, Georgia passed one of the most restrictive voting bills in recent history.

We can't let partisan politics continue to damage voting rights and participation in democracy. That's why Congress is working to pass H.R. 1 - the For the People Act - to establish protection for voters.

The House passed it in early March, but the Senate has been sitting on their hands as more and more states restrict voting around them. It's time to act. We need H.R. 1 now.
