Hey, we know we JUST wrapped up our FEC Q3 fundraising -- and we couldn’t have hit our goal without you, but we have some bad news on the campaign front. The RNC dropped a $150k ad buy in our district, launched a digital attack ad, and spread lies about Abby and her work because they know factual inaccuracies are all that they’ve got. This is a HUGE buy, though, and we know how this sort of misinformation can mislead the voters we need to win -- especially this early in the race. The GOP knows that IA-01 is one of EIGHT Democratic-held races that will determine the House majority in 2020, so they’ll do ANYTHING to win back this “toss-up” seat.

They’re saying Abby hasn’t kept her promises to fight for affordable healthcare and lower the cost of prescription drugs, but Abby’s been working on bipartisan legislation to increase access to quality medical care in rural communities in Iowa and across the country. She’s worked across the aisle to bring small business loans to Iowa, as well as disaster relief for the Mississippi floods.

The GOP is just getting started with their voter deception tricks, and we know they’re about to dump MILLIONS of dollars in dark money into this race to fund their attacks. We need to keep the truth out in front of them.
