John, did you see this?

Just DAYS after the NRA fought to repeal Colorado's ban on assault rifles, a shooter used an assault-style weapon to murder 10 people in Boulder.

But it's not just Boulder: Assault weapons have been the guns of choice in some of the deadliest mass shootings in our nation's history — from Parkland to Las Vegas. And unless we take immediate action, senseless tragedies like this will just keep happening.

There's momentum in Congress to ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. But to seize the moment, it's going to take a massive outpouring of grassroots support from gun safety advocates from around the country.

That's why we're calling on 10,000 grassroots supporters like you to join Brady in demanding Congress take action to ban assault weapons. But with time running out before our midnight deadline, we're falling just 24 responses short in your area— and we're counting on you to make your voice heard NOW. Please, John, let us know:

URGENT: Do you think we should ban military-style assault weapons?
