Never forget that the same Republicans who are bemoaning ‘cancel culture’ now spent months trying to cancel the results of the 2020 election.
Currently, they’re trying to cancel tens of millions of voters by pushing forward 361 bills targeting voting access in a staggering 47 states.
This will affect tens of millions of likely Democratic voters and will disenfranchise marginalized communities across the country: Republicans are targeting Black, Hispanic and Native Americans as well as working-class voters and those with disabilities.
This is undemocratic and incredibly discriminatory: Which is why The Lincoln Project believes there should be political consequences for the Republicans pushing these restrictive bills.
Do you agree with them? Should the Republicans working to strip away our right to vote be held accountable?
