Jack, sign the petition: Demand Congress support President Biden’s 100% Clean Electricity by 2035.
SIGN THE PETITION
President Joe Biden campaigned on the pledge of putting the U.S. on track to make electricity use 100% carbon-free by 2035. Now, he has introduced an infrastructure plan that includes this promise.
The threat of climate change is intensifying. We must act now to mitigate its devastating effects. Additionally, decarbonizing the electric grid by 2035 will create a net increase of between 500,000 and one million new jobs, including millions of family-wage jobs that will be available to frontline communities and communities of color.

The U.S. House introduced the Clean Future Act aligning with President Biden’s 100% clean electricity by 2035 standard. This legislation aims to address climate change at both the sector level and economy wide, and authorizes $565 billion in spending over the next decade to achieve decarbonization.
We must invest in 100% clean electricity by 2035. The time is now to demand Congress support an infrastructure package that includes the 100% clean standard and support the Clean Future Act.
Sign the petition: Demand Congress support Biden’s 100% clean electricity by 2035 standard to fight the impacts of climate change and create millions of new jobs!
