My Team and I Need Your Help

==============================

Dear Friend,

I'm Emmanuel Escoto, Project HOPE Team Lead in Honduras, where last November, two powerful hurricanes destroyed thousands of homes and displaced more than 250,000 people. The ongoing pandemic has made it even harder to reach communities here and provide the lifesaving care and supplies they need.

My team and I have been on the ground in Honduras receiving deliveries of airlifted medical supplies. When supporters like you send your notes of support, it inspires us to continue this vital work. Project HOPE is getting more airlifts ready, so please send your message today, and please include a gift if you're able. I can't tell you how encouraging a few kind words can be. And I've seen firsthand the lifesaving difference your generosity can make.

Months after the hurricanes, women, children and families were still drinking unsafe water from rivers, wells, and damaged water systems.

The unsafe water meant people were suffering from Dengue Fever and water-borne stomach, respiratory, and skin conditions. A spike in COVID-19 infections caused more despair.

Working with local partners, my team and I distributed chlorine and buckets with faucets, which thousands of families will use to store water. We also provided training on water purification and information on how to protect against COVID-19. We may only be in a community for a few months, but we make a long-lasting impact through our partnerships with local organizations.

You can help push this work forward. Please add your message -- I can tell you from personal experience that your words are powerful! And if you can include a gift with your note, it will be put to work immediately to help some of the world's most marginalized communities.

Gratefully,

Emmanuel Escoto
Team Lead, Honduras
