I know Mary Gay wrote to you on Thursday about the importance of passing Biden's American Jobs Plan, so I wanted to send a brief note to follow up.

Republicans are already disparaging the plan while it's still miles away from the House floor -- Mitch McConnell called it “a Trojan horse for massive tax hikes and other job-killing left-wing policies,” and the GOP is falling in line behind him.

We know Mary Gay will face pushback for her support of this bill -- and in a swing state where Republicans are focused on making gains in 2022, these attacks can have big repercussions.

Mary Gay also mentioned on Thursday that we're falling short of our weekly fundraising goals -- we had hoped to hit our mark by today, but we're still about $400 short.
