When Jordan Hoyt had her first child, her perspective changed.
As she told a Wyoming legislative committee, she began being concerned about the future of the country and the legacy she would leave to her children and grandchildren.
"What can I do? I stumbled on Convention of States and liked the idea of using the Constitution to restructure it back to what its original intent was. We have gotten so far off of our original blueprint," she said.
Jordan concluded with an inspiring call to action for her state representatives and fellow Wyomingites.
"This system still works. This government still works for us. We don't have to overthrow it, we don't have to go another direction. Get involved! Get informed! Get educated!" she said.
"You guys are most connected to the people, and that's important. I have faith in you," she told the legislators. "I'm going to start a wildfire across the state of Wyoming, and I hope it spreads."
