I decided to run for Congress because, as a public school teacher, I couldn't sit back and watch as education funding was being cut, the middle class was shrinking, and many families were struggling to get by.

Now, we have the numbers in Washington to secure BOLD progressive victories that could really make a difference.

But there's a catch. We'll only succeed if we can defend our Democratic majority from Republicans who are DYING to take back the House.

I'll tell you a hard truth: Democrats across the board are seeing fundraising dry up as our grassroots base becomes complacent now that Trump is gone.

In fact, our campaign is severely behind on our $10,000 April goal. We’ve only raised 10% of the money when we should be at 30%.

Meanwhile, MAGA Republicans are more energized than ever to take back congressional districts. They announced that they're targeting 47 seats in the next election to take down progressives like me.

So I’m humbly asking you to chip in $3 (or if you can, twice that amount), to help us close the gap. I’m counting on you to help us recover and prove that grassroots support is still strong. »
