Click here John, Starting Monday, April 12, we will finally have our day in court to hold Puget Sound Energy (PSE) accountable to the true climate impacts of their dangerous LNG project. For years, PSE has aggressively pursued their disastrous fracked gas facility on the Tacoma Tideflats, recklessly endangering our climate, health and safety. Since first proposing the facility, PSE has mislead the public by defining this massive fracked gas refinery as “clean energy,” falsely claiming that it would reduce emissions. Alongside the Puyallup Tribe and many of our environmental partners, Washington Environmental Council is challenging a key air permit for the facility in front of the Washington Pollution Control Hearings Board because we know we can’t build a clean energy future by investing in dirty energy. PSE needs to know that you are watching and that we all demand real climate action for our communities! Join WEC and the Power Past Fracked Gas coalition for our upcoming virtual watch parties:
Together, we can hold PSE accountable and build the clean energy future our communities deserve. In solidarity, Anna Doty We can't build a clean energy future by investing in fracked gas.
