John, we're coming to you today because we need to get this guy as far away from Congress as possible:
No, we don't mean Donald Trump — because together, Women's Marchers already succeeded at that. We're talking about Matt Gaetz, a longtime Trump ally and far-right GOP Congressman who's under investigation by the DOJ for sex trafficking and extortion.
It's now been over a week since news first broke that Gaetz is under investigation for his inappropriate, illegal, and predatory behavior — and in addition, he's since been accused of showing off to other lawmakers photos and videos of nude women he said he's slept with. If that sounds Trumpian to you, John, you're not wrong. It's beyond disqualifying, and we have to act.
Yesterday, we came to you to ask you to sign our official petition to Congress to expel Trump's favorite lapdog, Matt Gaetz. Thousands of Women's Marchers have already signed on, but we're reaching out because we need even more signatures to keep up our momentum, and we don't see yours yet. Please take a moment to sign our official petition to expel Matt Gaetz right now — it only takes a moment and will make an important difference.
Several lawmakers, both Democrat AND Republican, have already called on Gaetz to resign — which makes it clear that, with enough public pressure on Congress, we have a real chance to send Gaetz packing. But we need your help to get there, John.
Matt Gaetz is a day one Trump ally, but this goes beyond his anti-woman policies. We cannot allow him to occupy this seat in Congress, so please add your name alongside thousands of other Women's Marchers right now:
