Hi there,
Bad news out of the Supreme Court this week.
Justices heard a case on Twitter's choice to prevent then-President Trump from blocking users on his Twitter account, but Justice Clarence Thomas took it a step further.
While the case was thrown out, Justice Thomas foreshadowed a future review of the power of social media companies over free speech -- and appeared to side with Republicans in supporting Trump's return to Twitter. He said: "Today's digital platforms provide avenues for historically unprecedented amounts of speech ... Also unprecedented, however, is the concentrated control of so much speech in the hands of a few private parties."
Donald Trump used his platform to spread lies and encourage violence among his supporters. But now, Justice Thomas has signaled he may regain his platform -- and his direct line of contact to his radical followers.
We thought this issue was settled, but apparently it's not. So we want to know:
Do you want Trump back on social media?
