The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), the national powerhouse organization working to retake the House of Representatives, raised $33.7 million in the first quarter of 2021 – a record for the committee during an off-cycle year!
Matt is a top target of NRCC’s and they’ve launched cheap attacks against him via press releases and their social media channels in the first few months of the year. Matt’s GOP opponent is already getting reinforcements from the group.

And that’s not all, John: Former President Donald Trump reignited his fundraising operation this week, opening up the floodgates for Trump-endorsed candidates.
I do not doubt that Matt’s opponent, far-right activist Teddy Daniels, is thrilled to hear Trump’s super PAC is back in full swing – and is expecting its imminent support.
PA-08 is the last line of defense for our narrow Democratic Majority in the House — Republicans see it as the #1 seat they need to win to flip the House red. And now, they have the cash to make a real impact this early in the year.
