Hello, Friends —

This week, Congress has not been in session, but the Democrats are still yet to develop a plan of action at the border. Instead, they have found the time to harm the economy and local businesses of Georgians.

Recently, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed SB 202 into law, in order to modernize voting in the state and avoid a repeat of what happened last November: a Georgia run-off election transformed into an entirely separate and national spectacle, with plenty of time for big money and national interests to take over.

Notably, SB 202 extends voter ID requirements to all absentee ballots and shortens the time between Election Day and any subsequent runoff elections. However, the Democrats immediately began alleging that this bill is “Jim Crow on steroids.”

To nobody's surprise, this included the previous beneficiary of Georgia’s outdated voting laws, John Ossoff, who said, “we must defeat the new Jim Crow.” Georgia Democrat operative, Stacy Abrams, was in direct contact with MLB commissioner Rob Manfred over SB 202, before he ended up pulling the MLB All-Star game out of Atlanta.

Stacy Abrams and the Democrats have leaned into big business to act politically and pull their sponsorships away from the Atlanta Braves, for the benefit of their political agenda. Now, it seems that Stacy Abrams has woken up to reality, as she walks back her initiative and is “disappointed” that the MLB has pulled the All-Star game from Atlanta.

Atlanta businesses of all ethnicities and backgrounds will lose, thanks to the Democrats. This is estimated to cost the city $100 million.

This is another ignorant action, straight out of the Democrat playbook: deride a state’s law on the national stage, to the dismay and disaster of that state’s people. Local businesses, bars, restaurants, hotels, and drivers will all be left in the dust now; for what was supposed to be a very busy and profitable time ahead of them this July.

Through their reduced income, there will be less money going around in Atlanta and, consequently, in the state of Georgia. And guess what? Now the Democrats have flip-flopped and are “urging the MLB to return the All-Star game.” That’s not how it works.

Biden at the Border?

Joe Biden won’t even approach this catastrophe of catch & release. This isn’t just about ‘Dreamers,' it’s about our internationally-known open border.

People from all over the world—not just Mexico—have accepted this open invitation for immediate access to free public services and the country American citizens built, at the cost of $0 in income taxes.

First, Biden needs to admit that he has made a mistake. We have heard no answer and no acknowledgement of how and why the United States border is in crisis.

The only thing that President Biden has done, is to appoint Kamala to manage what’s going on at our border. What has happened since then? Nothing. Kamala has been removed from her post. No comment, Joe?

Both Gov. Greg Abbott of Texas and Gov. Doug Ducey of Arizona have determined that the current border situation is a crisis. Fentanyl is coming across the border, cartel members are coming across the border—and of course—Covid is coming across the border. Hey Dr. Fauci, why aren’t these illegal immigrants wearing masks?

It is truly amazing to see what the younger people in our district are capable of accomplishing.

SEVERE WEATHER OUTBREAK FORECAST FOR THE SOUTHERN U.S.

The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has issued a Moderate Risk (category 4 out of 5) this weekend. There will likely be severe thunderstorms, but it looks like the Oklahoma/Texas area will be effected more than NW Florida.
