Dear John,

I’m excited. For many things: how the nation is abuzz with the word infrastructure, the $400 billion public investment in home and community-based services... but for this week in particular the Care Can’t Wait Summit!

On April 10th at 12 p.m. ET we’ll galvanize a movement towards federal action that supports caregivers and care across every moment of our lives.

Will you join us?

As the nation begins to rebuild and heal, the Care Can’t Wait National Summit will serve as a tipping point in our work to demand a care agenda that is bold, clear and supportive of the real needs of women workers, children, older adults, people with disabilities, and caregiving families. We need to keep up this drumbeat; there is power in numbers.

Please join us!

This virtual event will take place this Saturday, and serve as the stage for family caregivers and their allies, influencers, policymakers, care workers, and care recipients to share their personal experiences and hopes for the future. I’m so honored to be one of these family caregivers sharing my personal story and am happy to announce that we will also feature:

  • Vice President Kamala Harris
  • Speaker Nancy Pelosi
  • Dawn-Lyen Gardner
  • Lauren Miller-Rogen
  • Alicia Garza
  • Johnnyswim
  • Ady Barkan
  • and many more!

I hope to see you there.

With care,

Sade Dozan, Senior Director of Development
