John, last month Cori went to Bessemer, Alabama to stand in solidarity with Amazon workers in their fight to unionize. She spoke with workers, visited the facility, and demanded that Amazon put an end to their dangerous, exploitative, and inhumane workplace environment.
Today, we received the results from their historic union drive. While the votes did not go our way this time, our fight is far from over.
Union organizers and Amazon workers had huge odds against them. Amazon invested millions of dollars to stop workers from unionizing. They brought in anti-union consultants, started an intimidation campaign, and even went so far as to change the timing of the traffic light at the employee entrance to prevent communication between union organizers and workers.
The union is planning to continue its fight — and Cori is too. After this historic union vote, Cori is more motivated than ever to keep pushing for workers' rights in Congress. Can you chip in $5 or anything you can afford today to support Cori as she continues to champion workers' rights? [[link removed]]

Just a few weeks ago, Cori voted for passage of the PRO Act, a bill she was an original co-sponsor of. The PRO Act would make it easier for Amazon workers, and workers across the country, to unionize and take the power back from billionaires who exploit workers and take home hundreds of billions of dollars in profits during a pandemic.
Cori won’t stop speaking out on behalf of workers’ rights because she’s been a low-wage worker herself and lived the struggle so many families go through to make ends meet. And since she will never stop fighting for us, we need to have her back.
Will you make a donation today of anything you can afford to help Cori continue taking on big fights like supporting workers' rights and dismantling systems of exploitation and violence? [[link removed]]
Let's keep up the fight,
Team Cori
