We've accomplished a lot so far. We're not done yet.
Forward Together New Orleans, the Mayor's Fund, has accomplished a lot so far. Here's a recap of some of the incredible work that's been made possible by generous donations from the New Orleans Community:
- More than $400,000 in rental assistance and other aid to those experiencing housing insecurity and homelessness.
- Community leaders trained, equipped, and empowered to be Neighborhood Navigators to help guide residents through new systems in place for COVID-19 relief.

The Neighborhood Navigators program has helped residents across New Orleans access resources related to the pandemic, including CARES Act benefits, contact tracing, and tax assistance.
- Funded training and deployment of community health workers to help the hardest hit and hardest to reach communities during the pandemic. This program doubles as a public health program for impacted communities and a career pathways program for dislocated workers.
- Provided over $750,000 in funding to help immigrant communities who were excluded from receiving federal benefits, including $500,000 in direct stimulus aid.
- Provided technology such as headsets, Chromebooks, and laptops to disadvantaged youth to prevent them from falling behind academically during the pandemic.
- Donated over 200,000 diapers, 40,000 feminine hygiene products, and 15,000 baby food products to families in need.
FTNO donated diapers, bottles, wipes, feminine products, and baby food to nonprofit organizations that helped over 750 vulnerable families throughout the city.

There's so much more to do to help New Orleans move forward together. Donate today to help The Mayor's Fund continue this important work.
