Parks for all!

Access to nature is essential for healthy, happy communities. But today, nearly a third of people in America don’t have a park within a 10-minute walk of home.

That’s 100 million people—including 28 million children—without a close-to-home place to play, exercise, celebrate, and connect with nature, and each other.

So on October 10, we’re observing National Walk to a Park Day—a day of action and advocacy to celebrate the parks we love, and call attention to the parks we need.

Do you agree that everyone deserves access to a park? Visit tpl.org/nationalwalktoaparkday to make your voice heard.
