Hi John,
I'm the director of community here at Run for Something, and I have an opportunity for
you to help our future candidates out -- without having to spend a single cent.
Here's the scoop:
We need volunteers to help the thousands of young progressives who've told us they want to Run for Something figure out what their next steps are.
That's where you come in. Our future candidates need a sounding board -- someone who can help them reflect on their values, capacity, and aspirations so they can get more specific about what they want to run for. No previous political experience necessary, just you and a kind ear.
The best part? Anyone from any background can help out! Our volunteer team currently includes high school and college students, teachers, a thoracic surgeon(!), and an artist.
That's it. Simple, easy, and a guaranteed way to feel more hopeful about democracy. Can you be a volunteer with Run for Something?
After you sign up, you'll first have a short training call with me that we hold every two weeks -- so if you miss one you can just join the next.
Then -- it's all up to you!
You get to pick your own hours and who you'll talk to. You might chat about what issues are closest to their heart, what motivated them to consider running, or who they'll rely on in their network during tough days on the trail.
You'll be getting valuable experience working with future candidates, and it's so rewarding to join them on their journey!
Excited to help? Click here to sign up so we can get you involved ASAP!
Thanks, and hope to meet you soon!
