Our investment in building-up our 2021 electoral organizing program is already paying-off in a big way. This week, 23 Our Revolution-endorsed candidates won their races to serve as mayors, city councilors and school board members in America’s heartland!
• In Illinois, Our Revolution members in Joliet, Evanston, Urbana and other towns organized a progressive takeover of local government offices
• In St. Louis, Our Revolution unseated several establishment incumbents to elect a progressive majority to the city council for the first time ever
• And in Kansas City, our slate of school board candidates swept the elections!
With many of these down-ballot races decided by razor-thin margins, Our Revolution’s strategic campaign operation - which includes recruiting and training grassroots volunteers to do targeted phone-banking, texting and canvassing - is proving to be a game-changer.
