Friends,

This week I continued to highlight Democrats' messaging and policies that led to the unprecedented crisis we are facing at our southern border. President Biden dismantled the common sense policies put into place by the previous administration, and now our country is suffering with the results. This week I also had to opportunity to meet the amazing Houstonians and law enforcement officers fighting to end human trafficking in Houston. The work they do is incredibly important, and we all have a role to fill when it comes to ending this horrible practice.

Please reach out to my offices if you have a concern, want to hear what we’re working on in Congress, or are having trouble with a federal agency. I have a full team in Texas and in the
nation's capital ready to assist you. Be sure to stay up to date by following me
on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.

Sincerely,

Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, listed the details of Texas' S.B. 7 and H.B. 6 voter bills in a Wednesday tweet to Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner. The GOP-led bills, the Senate version of which passed last week, extends early voting hours, prohibits voting clerks from sending absentee ballot applications to voters who did not request them and bans drive-thru voting, which was a popular alternative voting method during the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly in Harris County.

Fox News: Rep. Crenshaw tells United Airlines to just 'shut up' after airline follows same route as Delta

Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, told United Airlines to just "shut up" after the airline followed the same, controversial route taken by their competitor Delta Airlines in attacking Georgia's new election law. United Airlines called Georgia's new voting law "wrong" and claimed it "infringes on the right to vote of fellow Americans." The Texas congressman fired back on Monday, blasting United Airlines as pandering "hypocrites." Crenshaw pointed to United’s own policy requiring photo identification for people to board their flights.

Fox News: Crenshaw, Rubio slam Biden, MLB over Georgia boycott, ask if China will be next

Republican Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., and Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, hit President Biden and Major League Baseball for the league's decision to boycott Georgia over its election law -- and asking if that hard stance will be extended to the Chinese Communist regime. MLB announced this week it would be relocating its All-Star Game and MLB draft in response to the state’s election law, which Republicans have said will restore faith in the state’s elections, but Democrats have alleged will restrict voting access.
