Folks,
I was appalled when I learned that Georgia’s governor signed into law an egregious voter suppression bill.
Georgia’s new bill institutes strict voter ID requirements, limits ballot drop box locations, and even makes it a crime to bring food and water to folks waiting in long lines to vote.
It’s no wonder why Major League Baseball opted to move the All-Star game from Atlanta to Denver. Colorado has a proud history of open and secure elections — we even instituted universal vote-by-mail.
It’s time the nation followed Colorado’s lead. Sign my petition now demanding the Senate pass the For the People Act to protect and expand voting rights at the federal level. [[link removed]]

Georgia’s not even the worst of it. After the historic voter turnout that delivered a Democratic Senate and White House, state lawmakers have introduced over 350 harmful voter suppression bills across 47 states. And Mitch McConnell continues to oppose meaningful efforts to expand and protect voting rights at the federal level.
Now more than ever, Congress needs to pass the For the People Act to expand voting rights, combat voter suppression, and strengthen our sacred democracy.
The House has already passed the For the People Act. Now, the Senate needs to do the same. Sign your name now to demand the Senate pass the For the People Act immediately. [[link removed]]

Thank you for taking action on such an important issue. And I can’t wait to catch the All-Star game this summer.
