Ask Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, and he'll tell you straight up. He just signed into law one of the country's most restrictive abortion bans. He says the law will "set the stage for the Supreme Court overturning current case law."

To be clear, Hutchinson's ban is not in effect yet and abortion is still legal in Arkansas. But if this ban is not stopped by the courts, it will go into effect in August. And it's not just Arkansas. States like Arizona and Washington and Texas and South Carolina and Ohio and Kansas are all trying to further restrict abortion access … There are 44 states total where abortion restrictions have been introduced in 2021!
