Friend,

I've stood side by side with Floridians who have been impacted by delayed deliveries made by the U.S. Postal Service. I've heard stories about our neighbors and friends who count on the USPS for delivering their cancer medications – but are forced to wait due to a Postal Service gutted by mismanagement.

Our Postal Service is one of the oldest, most reliable and most trusted federal agencies in the history of our nation. And now a Trump-approved postmaster general is turning it into a political football, driving this institution to a breaking point. We must take action to save it.

The USPS keeps our country connected. It gets our communities what they need. For some of us, that's letters or packages from family and friends. For others, it's a Social Security check. It's a prescription. The USPS is a lifeline, Friend.

But this lifeline – this trusted and treasured institution – has seen on-time deliveries drop from a high of 96% to just 62% last December. And the postmaster general's solution? Cuts, cuts and more cuts. We can't stand for it – and if the postmaster general is going to sit on his hands, Congress must act.

So today, I'm asking for your signature on one of the most important petitions I've put in front of you. I need you to be one of 2,655 supporters to take action before 11:59 p.m. tonight: Add your name now to urge congressional action in support of the U.S. Postal Service.

Thank you very much for taking urgent action.
