URGENT: WE NEED 5,000 SUPPORTERS TO TAKE ACTION TODAY.

CALL 1-855-673-3625 NOW TO GET PATCHED THROUGH TO YOUR SENATOR'S IN-DISTRICT OFFICE.

John  Our families, our economy, our democracy are in crisis. This #RecoveryRecess, we need to show up together to demand Congress go bold and go big, no excuses, and no exceptions.

For care workers, especially undocumented workers and women of color, what Congress decides now will set the trajectory for lives and livelihoods FOR YEARS. We have the momentum and we need to capitalize on it now.

Investing in a care economy now can create 1.5 million new care jobs jobs that can ensure there is full inclusion of all immigrants in relief and recovery, including a pathway to citizenship for essential domestic workers, so no one is left behind.

Will you join us today and call and ask your senators to support a care economy?

To create a just job recovery plan for all of us, we must center the women of color whose essential duties make all other work possible. That’s why we must make care jobs good jobs with family-sustaining wages, benefits, training, and a pathway to citizenship.

The Care is Essential campaign calls for $450 billion to invest in Medicaid to create 1.5 million new care jobs, to increase critical home care services to people with disabilities and aging adults so they can live with dignity at home, and to build a durable home care system for workers and consumers.

This critical investment would finally acknowledge the central role women — especially Black, Latina and Asian women, a great number of whom are undocumented — play in powering our economy in times of stability and crisis.
