Over the last few weeks, pressure has been mounting on big corporations to oppose attacks on voting rights in Georgia and Texas – and it’s working.
Last week, Major League Baseball made the unprecedented decision to move the All-Star game out of Atlanta in response to Georgia’s new, horrendous anti-voting law. We’ve also seen companies like Coca-Cola and Delta issue statements condemning the law in Georgia and companies like American Airlines and Dell speaking out in support of voting rights in Texas.
But we haven’t seen Big Tech companies like Google, Apple, and Facebook make a clear statement opposing HB 6 and SB 7, the bills Texas Republicans are trying to ram through the legislature to restrict voting rights. These companies have a huge footprint in Texas and a moral obligation to speak out against racist attacks on voting rights.
Add your name to call on Google, Apple, Facebook, and other Big Tech companies to oppose HB 6, SB 7, and any other racist anti-voter bill introduced in the Texas legislature.
Thank you for lending your voice once again.
