[1]Women's March
John, at Women’s
March, we believe women.
So when news broke last week that GOP Congressman and close Trump ally
Matt Gaetz is under investigation by the Department of Justice for his
involvement with trafficking and extortion, we were infuriated.
Since then, the news has only gotten worse. Matt Gaetz is being accused of
showing off to other lawmakers photos and videos of nude women he said
he’s slept with. Reports also claim that he was allegedly in a
relationship with a 17 year old girl. On top of the fact that he’s one of
Trump’s most loyal supporters and has fought to keep his racist,
misogynist agenda alive — Matt Gaetz has proved to us time after time that
he’s a threat to women everywhere in our country.
Conduct like this is despicable from anyone, in any job — but as a
Congressperson, it’s disqualifying.

thing and resign himself. Will you add your name to our petition calling
on Congress to immediately expel Matt Gaetz from office?
Expel Gaetz →
We’re disturbed by the stories women are sharing regarding Gaetz’s long
history of misconduct, but not surprised. His entire political career has
been rooted in a pro-Trump, anti-woman agenda.
When Trump claimed that the election was stolen from him, Matt Gaetz was
on the frontlines pushing a false narrative about election fraud and was a
key player in inciting the January 6 insurrection at the Capitol.
When Florida legislators passed a bill to prevent people from sharing
sexually explicit photos of their ex-partners online, Matt Gaetz cast one
of just two House votes against it.
When six women of Asian descent were murdered by a white supremacist, Matt
Gaetz still voted down the Violence Against Women Act in Congress.
We’ve seen enough: Matt Gaetz is a threat to the safety of women and the
democratic values of our country. He must resign.
[ [link removed] ]It’s going to take a grassroots wave of pressure to make sure Congress
does the right thing and expels Matt Gaetz. Please add your name now so we
can make sure Matt Gaetz is held accountable for his despicable actions.
Keep fighting,
Women’s March
