There have been more than 360 different pieces of legislation introduced to make it more difficult to vote across the country.

Republicans in state legislatures have masqueraded these attacks as ‘election integrity,’ but make no mistake: these are attempts to take away your right to vote.

For over a decade, Emerge has been focused on a single mission: electing more women at every level of government.

We’re facing 361 different laws making it harder for American’s to vote in 47 states!

Here are some of the things these bills will do:
-Limit early voting
-Decrease the number of hours that polls are open
-Make it more difficult to register to vote
-Restrict people from handing out water to voters waiting in line

Make no mistake: these bills will destroy our democracy and target the voting protections that BIPOC, the elderly, people with disabilities, working class voters, young people, and so many more have fought for.

The Republicans are cheating. They’re stealing the right to vote from everyone they see as a threat to their power — and they’re making it more difficult for our trailblazing alums to get elected.
