You’ve probably seen the photos of Representative Park Cannon being arrested for knocking on Governor Brian Kemp’s door to protest his signing of Georgia's new voter suppression bill.

Representative Cannon has been working tirelessly in Georgia’s Senate to stop the horrific bill, S.B. 202.

“With one stroke of a pen” Gov. Kemp “erased decades of sacrifices, incalculable hours of work, marches, prayers, tears and … minimized the deaths of thousands who have paid the ultimate price to vote.” 

Don’t forget: Brian Kemp stole the election from Stacey Abrams in 2018 by overseeing his election. His actions are not new. This is who he is.

Our organizers on the ground in Georgia are standing behind Rep. Park Cannon every step of the way. Why do we need to ensure the passage of H.R. 1?

• It would enact nationwide Automatic Voter Registration
• It would put an end to partisan gerrymandering
• It would require Trump and future Presidents to disclose their taxes
• It would expand eligible days and hours to vote, shortening lines and providing greater access to participate in democracy
• And it would stop state Republicans from passing dozens of racist, anti-democratic voter suppression laws before 2022.

We can’t stand for Republican voter suppression any longer.
