Off to the races in 2021!

APRIL VICTORIES!

Victory Fund had our biggest Election Night of 2021 this week – and the results speak for themselves! At least 13 of our 15 endorsed candidates either won outright, advanced to their general elections or appear to have defeated a recall attempt! Congratulations to our reelected incumbents Nick Kachiroubas, Scott Lennon, Michael Campbell, Adam Graham, Paula Lewis, Larry Palm, and Patrick Heck.

While many ballots still need to be counted, things are looking good for Anchorage (AK) Assembly Chair Felix Rivera, who faced a homophobic recall attempt.

Kristal Larson won her race for Avon (IL) Township Clerk, officially making history as the one of the first two out trans candidates elected to a non-judicial position in Illinois.

In St. Louis, Bill Stephens defeated an entrenched incumbent to become the newest 12th Ward Alderman! Read his touching message to supporters here.

Both Tom Beckius and Sändra Washington have advanced to the general election in their races for the Lincoln (NE) City Council!
