Last week was a great week for our campaign, John -- and that’s because of people like you.

It was our big end-of-quarter fundraising deadline, and thanks to you, we hit our goals. (Thank you, thank you, thank you!)

But for me, this has always been about so much more than meeting our budget targets. It’s about finally giving the people of the Third District a representative that actually represents them.

That’s what makes these deadlines so powerful. Unlike my opponent, I’ve refused to take money from corporate PACs or federal lobbyists, because our district deserves so much more than another bought-and-sold politician.

This campaign is built by people like you chipping in what they can, when they can -- and this past week, you showed us just what a grassroots effort can do.
