Dear Mid-Atlantic CCL volunteer: Did you know that you belong to the smallest of all CCL regions geographically? Although we may be the smallest in land size, we are empowered where it counts -- our volunteers! We are one of the most diverse and internationally connected CCL regions in the nation! Our CCL Mid-Atlantic Chapters are home to some of the kindest, brightest, and funniest people I have met. If you would like to meet some fun and stimulating human beings, please come to our regional social hour!
What occurs with our social hour is up to you! Join us as we work to strengthen our regional CCL community. When: Each Sunday from 4-5 p.m. (Come for as little or as much of the hour as you want) Where: https://citizensclimate.zoom.us/my/cclmidatlantic Password = 123 Although many of our volunteers will be excited to talk about HR 2307, the reintroduction of the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act, we welcome discussions on a broad range of both CCL and non-CCL topics. Topics often range from the serious (practice messaging about the new bill), to the silly (comparing misspelled last names, believe it or not mine has been misspelled five times!). With the use of Zoom breakout rooms, you can jump in and out of discussions with fascinating individuals across our region from the comfort and safety of your own home. Questions? Contact the RC with the shortest last name but with a very long email address: [email protected] Best Wishes, Sabrina S. Fu P.S. We are probably the only region to have TWO events on Sunday, April 11! The Baltimore CCL chapter is co-hosting an EJ event this Sunday (4/11) at 3pm (one hour before our social hour): about Environmental Justice in Baltimore City. Although it's a discussion focused on Baltimore, we think it will be interesting to larger community. Event is free and via zoom: https://eastsidecertifiedapr2021.eventbrite.com
