Dear John,

At the Partnership for Working Families (PWF), we organize every day to build a more inclusive democracy for all, through the powerful leadership of leaders of color. In honor of Black Women’s History Month and Arab American Heritage Month, we recognize and celebrate women of color leading not only their communities but the world on the path to liberation.

Please join us along with leaders from LAANE, Georgia STAND-UP and Stand Up Nashville for a special virtual screening of NAACP Image Award nominated documentary “And She Could Be Next” on Wednesday, April 14th.

Filmed by a team of women filmmakers of color, the two-part docuseries follows the incredible movement led by women of color to transform politics for a truly representative democracy. A discussion featuring Georgia STAND UP Executive Director Deborah Scott, film producer Jyoti Sarda, LAANE Executive Director Roxana Tynan, Nashville Council Member Delishia Porterfield, and PWF California Director Elly Matsumura will follow the film. We hope you will join us for this special event honoring the transformative political leadership of women of color!
