The Special Educational Needs (SEN) Service works closely with schools, parents, and specialist services from education, health and social care.? We are looking for a knowledgeable and resilient person to be responsible for supervising the administration of the additional funding processes for high needs learners aged 0-25.? Funding processes include the Early Years Inclusion Fund and High Level Needs funding for schools and early years settings, and the High Needs funding for students in FE College and other Post-16 settings.

The post holder will monitor a range of SEN budgets and provide financial information to schools, settings and senior officers. The post holder will lead on ensuring that SEN Service records and data management processes are legally compliant, efficient and fit for purpose and will provide complex data analysis, forecasting and management information to inform strategic planning and commissioning of services.

The successful applicant will have a strong analytical approach, a high level of personal drive and commitment to excellent customer care, and the ability to set an example for other staff

Essential Requirements:


* Robust knowledge and experience of administrative practices and procedures including budget monitoring
* Supervisory experience
* Excellent standard of literacy and communication skills
* Skilled in the use of data management software and information management systems
* Ability to interpret and produce complex data analyses, forecasting and management information
* Ability to interpret and apply complex legislation, and negotiate solutions within those boundaries, make decisions and solve problems

The successful applicant will be part of a strong team that works hard, pulls together to meet deadlines, and values individual strengths. Every SEN team member acts as first point of contact for a wide range of telephone, email and in-person queries from internal and external customers in relation to all SEN matters.
